Albert Finney (May 9, 1936 Salford, Greater Manchester, England - ) is an English actor.
His breakout role came in 1963's Tom Jones. In 1970, he played Ebenezer Scrooge in Charles Dickens' ghost story, A Christmas Carol. In 1981, he starred in a cops and monsters adaptation of Whitley Strieber's novel, Wolfen (movie).
Also in 1981, he was directed by Michael Crichton in Looker.
In 1982, it was the musical Annie (as Daddy Warbucks), in an all-star cast that included Tim Curry, Bernadette Peters, and Carol Burnett.
In 1999, he played Kurt Vonnegut's Kilgore Trout in the adaptation of Breakfast of Champions. In the 2000s, he's worked twice for Tim Burton: on-screen in Big Fish and voicing a role in Corpse Bride.
