Alan Ormsby (b. 1944) American writer and make-up effects designer whose uneven career has included such low budget surprises as Children Shouldn’t Play With Dead Things (1972), Deathdream (1972), Deranged (1974) and Shock Waves (aka Almost Human, 1976) along with the inflated Hollywood remake of Cat People (1982 movie) (1982).
