Aladdin is a Disney animated television series based on the hit 1992 animated feature film. The series follows up on the film's direct to video sequel, The Return of Jafar. Aladdin follows the daily adventures of street urchin, Aladdin, his love, Princess Jasmine and sidekicks, Genie, Jafar's former pet, the parrot, Largo and Aladdin's pet monkey, Abu. Linda Larkin, Frank Welker, Gilbert Gottfried and Scott Weinger reprised their voice roles from the film with Dan Castellaneta, known for his work on The Simpsons taking on the role of Genie, preciously played by Robin Williams in the 1992 film.
