Premise

In the small farming village of Kizuldah in Karzistan, local fashion expert, Chung Mae, is the only connection to the cultural and technological happenings of the outside world. Far from the village, technology is revolutionizing the world and a new communications technology has emerged, called Air. Air promises to connect people, computers, machines and communications without using power lines. Air uses principles of quantum mechanics and essentially implants an equivalent of the Internet in everyone's mind. An initial test of the new system in Kizudulah goes wrong and many are killed by the shock. Mae becomes trapped in the system and her mind is enmeshed with that of a dying woman. However, she also now has the ability to see into the quantum realm, the future and the past. Now Mae is determined to prepare her village for the Air network which is coming whether they want it or not and with potential for disaster.

It's usually best to give a very general overview to a story first, then plot details. When including the plot or essential details in your article (which could ruin the pleasure of discovery for some readers), it is important to include the spoiler tag before any give-away material.
