Acastus Kolya is a commander in the Genii military on the series Stargate Atlantis played by Robert Davi. Kolya was commissioned to trained a reconnaissance team for off-world missions. His team led a mission to take over the city of Atlantis during a massive hurricane. He used his ties with the Manarians to acquire a GDO from an Athosian man and gained access to Atlantis, killing two Atlantis guards.

Kolya's plot was thwarted by the actions of Major John Sheppard who manged to kill several of his men and prevented reinforcements from coming through the gate by activating the Atlantis Stargate's shield. Kolya and remnants of his team retreated from the city when it became apparent Dr. Rodney McKay's attempts to activate the city's shield was a failure and the city would be destroyed. The city was saved when the shield was successfully activated after Kolya left.

Kolya came across Sheppard and his team on Sudaria where they were engaged in a hunt for the hidden Potentia, a Zero Point Module left with The Brotherhood by the Ancients. Kolya took over the search and forced Sheppard and McKay to try and solve a puzzle that would kill them, should they fail. The Atlantis team managed to thwart Kolya but lost the ZPM to the new Brotherhood.

Kolya managed to kidnap Sheppard another occasion and threatened to kill him if Dr. Weir did not turn over Genii leader Ladon Radim to him. Kolya allowed a captured Wraith to feed on Sheppard until he was near death. It was only Sheppard's cooperation with the Wraith that allowed him to escape and the Wraith returned the life he's previously taken.
