A Boy and His Dog is a 1975 cult classic movie based on a novella by Harlan Ellison. Don Johnson (Miami Vice, Nash Bridges), stars as Vic, a young man trying to survive in a post–nuclear holocaust world—and just maybe find a little sex in the bargain. He is paired with a genetically altered dog, who resembles Benji, and the two communicate telepathically. Vic and his dog forage for food, fight off villains and Vic is lured into an underground city by a beautiful where the inhabitants intend to force him to impregnate dozens of women.
