30 Days of Night is a 2007 film directed by David Slade with Sam Raimi and Robert G. Tapert among its producers. Josh Hartnett and Melissa George star as a husband and wife Sheriff team who must fight of a gang of vampires who visit the isolated Alaskan town of Barrow, just as the sun sets for the final time for the next thirty days. Eben (Hartnett) and Stella (George) must prevent the town from being overrun as without the sun, the vampires have free reign.

The film opened in the top box office spot during the October 19th weekend, earning over $16 million.
