Æon Flux is an MTV animated series created by animator Peter Chung. The animated short premiered in 1991 during MTV's liquid television experiment. After the 1991 premier, five short episodes aired in 1992 and ten more half hour episodes in 1995. A live action film debuted in 1995 and Charlize Theron starred as main character Æon.
